Las Vegas, January 8th, 2026 — ThunderSoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced a jointly developed edge-to-cloud AI solution for next-generation intelligent cockpits. Unveiled at the AWS booth during CES 2026, the solution integrates ThunderSoft’s AquaDrive AIOS with foundation models and agent managed by Amazon Bedrock to deliver a secure, efficient, and scalable architecture for bringing generative AI into the in-vehicle environment.

A New Architecture for Intelligent Cockpits
The solution addresses long-standing cockpit limitations—static UI design, limited content richness, and insufficient personalization. Through deep edge-cloud collaboration, it enables dynamic, adaptive, and intent-driven in-vehicle experiences.
A core feature, Generative HMI, interprets multimodal user intent and automatically performs requirement analysis, content generation, UI/UX layout creation, and on-demand code generation and deployment. This allows the cockpit interface to evolve beyond predefined templates and respond to user needs in real time.
Key Benefits:
- Personalized Experience at Scale
Large-model generation enables highly adaptive interface content and styles.
- Automotive-Grade Safety and Compliance
Model tuning and engineering guardrails ensure generated outputs meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Deep OEM Adaptation
Cockpit content is optimized for each OEM’s design language, system architecture, and UX requirements.
- Unified Edge-to-Cloud Framework
AWS provides secure, scalable cloud AI infrastructure through Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore; ThunderSoft delivers automotive-grade edge capabilities for rapid deployment and long-term lifecycle management.
Jerry Yang, Vice President of ThunderSoft, said: "Our collaboration with AWS brings production-ready generative AI capabilities into the cockpit., By combining ThunderSoft's automotive software expertise with AWS's cloud-based AI services including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Strands Agents SDKwe are strengthening our leadership in intelligent cockpit innovation and accelerating the transition toward intent-driven, generative experiences for global OEMs."
The joint solution will be available to global OEM and Tier-1 partners in 2026, including reference designs, development toolkits, and co-development support.
